Arabic & RTL¶
Scroll is Arabic-native. Choosing Arabic switches the entire workspace to Arabic and right-to-left, not just labels, but workflow content and the AI's answers too.
Choosing the language¶
After picking the Scroll workspace, a language picker offers:
- English, interface and AI output in English (left-to-right).
- العربية (Saudi), full Arabic (right-to-left).
The choice applies to the whole workspace and is remembered for your session.
What's translated in Arabic mode¶
| Area | Arabic |
|---|---|
| Interface chrome | Sidebar, tabs, buttons, view titles, table headers, dropdowns, placeholders, modals. |
| Workflow content | All 31 workflows' names, descriptions, tags, step titles, and field labels. |
| AI output | Workflow analysis and the regulatory Q&A answer in Modern Standard Arabic (MSA / الفصحى). |
| Layout | Right-to-left throughout, the sidebar moves to the right, text aligns right, controls mirror. |
The only thing that intentionally stays in Latin script is the "xybern · Scroll" brand mark.
Details that matter¶
- MSA for regulatory output, formal Modern Standard Arabic, matching how UAE/Saudi government and legal documents are written.
- LTR-safe data, licence numbers, reference codes, hashes, and URLs stay left-to-right inside the Arabic layout for readability.
- Arabic dates, dates render in the Arabic locale.
- No browser translate prompt, Scroll declares its own language, so the browser's "translate this page?" popup is suppressed.
- Custom workflows display in the language you author them in; the 31 built-ins are fully Arabic out of the box.
