Creating a workspace. From the admin console, Workspaces, create with the preset Teams. The owner is invited by email; there is no self serve sign up.
Models and budgets. In the admin console under Teams, each Teams workspace has a model allowlist, a default model and budgets: tokens a day for a chat, a room, a seat, and optionally the whole workspace. Build offers only allowed models; every conversation takes the workspace's budgets; when the workspace cap is reached every agent waits until the next day (UTC).
Spend. Every model turn writes a ledger row by workspace, team, agent and model. The admin console shows thirty day spend per workspace, and the workspace Overview shows the owner spend by team and by model. DeepSeek and Claude calls are also counted in the platform wide usage ledger under the feature "teams".
Rhythms and consolidation. Each worker runs the room tick (every minute), the rhythm tick (every five minutes) and the nightly consolidation (03:00 UTC). A rhythm runs once a day on its days at or after its hour.
Docs and demo. The seed script scripts/seed_teams_demo.py creates a demo Teams workspace with a Reader, a Watcher and an Author on a team, their rhythms and sample cards, for walkthroughs.
