CRM Connections¶
Connect your CRM so Scroll can pull contacts directly into workflows, no re-typing client details. Manage connections under Connections → CRM Integrations.
Zoho CRM (live connect)¶
Zoho connects via OAuth and supports live contact search.
- One-click connect (managed app): if Scroll is configured with a Zoho app for your deployment, clicking Connect sends you straight to Zoho to log in, no credentials to paste.
- Per-tenant connect: otherwise, paste your own Zoho Client ID and Client Secret (from api-console.zoho.com, a Server-based Application) with the redirect URI Scroll shows you.
- Data centre aware: Zoho is region-locked. Scroll handles
.com,.eu,.sa,.in,.com.au, and more, pick your data centre when connecting (it matches your Zoho URL).
Once connected, open a workflow → Load from client → Connected CRM → search a contact. Scroll lists your contacts and maps the selected one's fields onto the workflow. Sessions refresh automatically.
The Zoho account must have CRM access (it's a separate Zoho product), otherwise authorisation will report no CRM permission.
Salesforce (import)¶
Modern Salesforce orgs lock down both Connected-App creation and SOAP API login by default, which makes live OAuth unreliable. So Salesforce data comes in via CSV import on the Clients tab:
- Export your Contacts/Accounts from Salesforce (Reports → export, or Data Export).
- Clients → Import CSV → upload it. Scroll auto-maps the headers and creates client profiles.
This needs no app, no API access, and no org settings, and never breaks when Salesforce changes its API rules.
Which to use¶
| Firm | Best fit |
|---|---|
| Uses Zoho CRM | Live connect, real-time contact search and pre-fill. |
| Uses Salesforce (or any other CRM) | CSV import, bulk-load contacts into Scroll clients. |
| WhatsApp / no CRM | Intake links, clients submit their own details. |
