Client Intake Links

Intake links are shareable, public URLs that let a client fill in their own details for a workflow. When they submit, Scroll creates the run automatically, applying PII redaction and starting the engine.


A branded form for a workflow. Share it with a client (e.g. on WhatsApp), they fill the fields and upload any documents, and the workflow starts on submission. Generate one from a workflow's Send link to client option, or manage all links under Connections → Intake Links.

The powerful one. When you pre-fill a workflow from a saved client or CRM and some fields are still blank, click Request missing N from client. Scroll generates a link that:

  • shows the client only the missing fields (everything you already know is pre-filled and hidden),
  • accepts document uploads for any missing files (passport scan, tenancy contract…),
  • on submit, merges the known + supplied data and runs the workflow automatically.

This is the same mechanism Renewal Autopilot uses to chase missing info without you doing anything.


  • Custom message shown to the client.
  • Consent checkbox (on by default) for data-protection compliance.
  • Expiry date.
  • Usage count so you can see how often a link was used.

Security model

The link token is the credential, no client login required. Known values attached to a targeted link are stored encrypted. Submitted documents are saved to the workspace's secure upload store and attached to the run. Consent (when required) is enforced server-side before a run is created.
