Live Web Search

Regulatory details change, fees, tax thresholds, GOSI rates, Nitaqat bands, renewal requirements. Scroll's analysis steps can search the live web for the most current official information before answering, so a workflow reflects today's rules rather than a model's training cut-off.

How it works

  • Live search is available on workflow analysis steps by default.
  • The AI decides per step whether it actually needs to search: if the task depends on current external facts (fees, rates, thresholds, deadlines, recent rule changes) it searches; if everything it needs is already in the uploaded document/inputs, it skips searching, so there's no wasted cost on document-only steps.
  • Results are steered toward official government and regulator sources (e.g. tax.gov.ae, sama.gov.sa, zatca.gov.sa, gosi.gov.sa, mohre.gov.ae), and the AI prefers the most recent figures.

What it's good for

  • Current fees & thresholds, "what's the DED renewal fee / CT threshold / GOSI rate right now?"
  • Recent changes, catches when a rule or required document changed since last time. This is what lets Renewal Autopilot prepare a renewal that reflects the latest requirements, not last year's.
  • Verification, reduces reliance on possibly-outdated model memory for figures that move.

What it's not for

Deadlines come from the client's documents (the licence/visa itself), not the web, Scroll extracts those directly. Web search complements this by confirming the surrounding rules and fees are current.

Privacy

Web search runs server-side during analysis. Combined with PII redaction, client identities are tokenised before the AI (and its search) ever process them.
